Seller represents this rare Flint Touring Car as being a very solid rust free example, that has been garage kept since having a complete professional restoration some years back. It was just recently taken out of storage to have a complete paint refresh. Seller says that it runs excellent and is an easy start up. Also says that she believes it to be original, or at least original parts, even to the original oil can that is stored in the engine bonnett.

For those not familiar, The Flint Automobile Company was founded in 1901, and closed its doors in 1903. The name rights were acquired by Durant Motorcars in 1924 and reportedly manufactured less than 15,000 total Automobiles in a 5 year span before closing in 1927. Several model options were offered in 2 door, 4 door and body styles, but the exact number of each different model is unknown.

Durant Motorcars started this division with what was considered state of the art engineering and future prototype power plants. Many believed the Durant Automobile was ahead of its time in engineering and durability. Durant was unable to compete with the so-called “throw away” pricing from the “Big 3” manufacturers and closed its doors in 1927 due to financial hardship.

Here is a great opportunity to own a rare piece of Automotive History, that would be a much welcomed, and extraordinary addition to complete any collection, museum or even a first-time collector.

It is being sold at NO-RESERVE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER REGARDLESS OF PRICE!!!!

This vehicle will run on Z170
