This Camaro is being represented as being an original low mileage and un-restored survivor. The seller says that with the exception of 1 repaint and the replacement of expected wear items, (Battery, Wiper Blades, Tires, etc), it is original. The Color Code 65 “Olympic Gold” Exterior is reportedly 1 of just over 1,000 Z/28 Camaros ever produced in 1969, and only 1 of less than 175 that were manufactured with a Vinyl Top. It is estimated to have been repainted some 10 to 12 years ago, and it is said that it still shows as new.
He says that this is a Numbers Matching Car, with numerous data sheets, research documents and recorded component number stamps. The previous owner has stated that the 6,353 miles showing on the odometer are correct, however, the car was acquired from an estate and cannot be 100% verified. He does say that the car’s condition is certainly indicative of a very low mileage 55 year old vehicle. Undercarriage photos indicate that it was undercoated when new and shows to be original and rust free.
The seller says that this rare Camaro runs, drives and performs as it did when new, and that it is correct from the Carburetor to the Chambered Exhaust System.
Here is a unique opportunity to own a very rare and possibly one of the most sought after Camaros ever produced.
